Debbie is a Licensed Creative Arts Therapist who has been working as an art therapist for sixteen years. She has a great deal of experience working with adult populations, including those with Alzheimer’s dementia, developmental disabilities, medical frailty, and hospice patients. Debbie is dedicated to improving the lives of those served with a compassionate and practical approach.
Debbie also has experience working with children aged three to 18 both as an art therapist and art teacher. Additionally, she recently began working with children on the autism spectrum. She has a love of children and believes that art-making provides them the opportunity to create, communicate, and heal.
Creative expression is a powerful gift to which everyone is entitled.
Debbie is a professional mural artist and has curated numerous art shows in a variety of settings. She believes that there is an artist within us all and that the visual language of art is one we can all speak together.
