Meet Our Coordinators

Valerie M. Theodorou

MS, MPH, LNHA, BC-DMT, LCAT | Health Care Manager | Founder
ValerieValerie is a Licensed Creative Arts Therapist, Board Certified Dance / Movement Therapist and Licensed Nursing Home Administrator with over 10 years of expertise. She has worked with adults and seniors as a Therapist and an Administrator. She is an “old soul” who individualizes her approach to allow each client to experience a comfort with the aging process. She brings a sense of joy, humor and a willingness to improve their quality of life. Valerie holds an MS in Dance/Movement Therapy from Pratt Institute and an MPH in Community Health from Hunter College. In addition to clinical work, she is an experienced consultant and supervisor.

Valerie has worked with seniors, adults, adolescents and children in a wide variety of settings. She specializes in working with adults and seniors particularly on the aging process, issues of life transitions, maintaining level of functioning, and aging in place, as well as issues related to behavioral change. Her work is influenced by theories and practices in dance/movement and creative arts therapies.


Tashika Bills

Licensed Social Worker | Health Care Manager
tashikaTashika Bills is a Licensed Social Worker with 7 years of experience in Medicare/Medicaid care coordination. Her main focus is care management in the aging population, but she also has experience working with children and facilitating sexual health education workshops. Tashika holds a B.A. from Ramapo College of NJ and an MSW from Rutgers University. Over the course of her career, she has worked in hospice, Medicare, Medicaid, managed care, care coordination, and healthcare management. Tashika also holds a certificate in human service management. When she is not advancing her career, Tashika enjoys attending cultural events, traveling, and spending time with loved ones.


Lani Hans

Licensed Social Worker | Health Care Manager
avatarLani Hans is a licensed social worker with a broad array of experience in the field. She began working with the geriatric community in 2010. Lani has held positions in several geriatric care settings ranging from in-home, subacute to long-term care facilities. She has served as the director of social services in a continued care community.

She also has experience with children and adolescents with developmental and learning disabilities as well as providing care within a psychiatric in-patient unit.

She takes a multi-disciplinary approach to understand the needs of each individual client and strives to promote their independent social well-being. Lani has her Masters degree from the Touro Graduate School of Social Work.
